KoiLens is operated by Van Raaij Solutions, Netherlands. The owner and responsible operator is Merijn van Raaij.

KoiLens is a research and comparison service. It does not sell koi, hold dealer inventory, take payment, broker a transaction, or act as the buyer’s or dealer’s agent.

Dealer facts—such as price, breeder, variety, size, sex, age, media, and source link—come from the relevant listing or attributed source. KoiLens’s own assessments are calculated separately and are labelled as research signals.

KoiLens is not part of the dealers whose listings it covers. A listing, link, or source reference does not by itself mean that a dealer endorses KoiLens or that KoiLens endorses the dealer.

KoiLens uses facts and media made available on dealer or other identified source pages. The named dealer and source destination are shown where supported. Images remain attributable to their identified source; inclusion in KoiLens does not transfer ownership of that material.

If you own material shown here, believe attribution is wrong, or identify an incorrect listing fact, use the correction and removal contact. Include the KoiLens page or koi identifier, the source page, and the correction or removal requested. Requests are reviewed by the operator without exposing private administration tools.

Scout summarises supported listing evidence under KoiLens’s current evaluation criteria. Body is an experimental assessment of visible body and conformation evidence and has no hidden influence on Scout. Value is price-aware and is withheld when its publication checks do not permit it.

These assessments do not diagnose health, verify genetics or documentation, predict growth or show results, guarantee resale value, or replace current media, experienced judgment, or appropriate veterinary advice.

Shortlist stores a version number and stable public koi identifiers in this browser. Compare stores up to four public koi identifiers. KoiLens also stores research filters, display preferences, and a recent successful-visit time so those local features can continue between visits.

There is no KoiLens account or cloud sync. These browser records are not a copy of the dealer listing and are not sent to KoiLens as a saved list. They remain on this browser profile until you clear the relevant feature, clear site data, or the browser removes them. Clearing Shortlist removes its versioned browser record; a koi no longer present in the current publication exposes no stale saved facts and can still be removed.

When you choose a dealer or source link, you leave KoiLens. The destination’s own terms and privacy practices apply. KoiLens does not complete the purchase, take payment, arrange transport, or become a party to any agreement you make with a dealer or another source.

The shipped local and static KoiLens application does not include product analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural telemetry, or cookies, and it does not send usage events to a measurement service. UX measurement is currently on hold. No cookie banner is shown because the shipped application does not set cookies.

Loading source media or following an external dealer link can connect your browser to that third party, which applies its own privacy practices. KoiLens does not control those services.

If you email Van Raaij Solutions, the operator receives your email address and the information you choose to send. That information is used to answer the request, investigate a factual correction or removal, and keep records reasonably needed for the request or required by law. It is not used for marketing. You may ask for access, correction, or deletion of your contact information by using the address below, subject to applicable legal obligations.

By using KoiLens, you agree to use it as an informational research aid and to make your own decisions. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.

Dealer facts, third-party media, and KoiLens assessments may be incomplete or contain errors. The service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that every feature or source will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing on KoiLens is veterinary, financial, investment, or other professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Van Raaij Solutions is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on KoiLens content or from a third-party destination. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights available to consumers under applicable law continue to apply.
